We were pleased to share our OFSTED Section 8 outcome with parents and the school community earlier this week and I would like to extend a thank you to the pupils and parents who spoke to the Inspector and also to our school staff for their continuing hard work and dedication.

The children have settled back in to learning after the half term break and have been keen to share their work, including Remembrance Day.

It has been a busy couple of weeks at St. Aloysius’. Children have been working hard in lessons with a focus on being ambitious and there are some wonderful displays around the school to showcase their learning across the curriculum.

This time of year is often one of both reflection and looking towards the future. It is also a time of sadness as we bid farewell to our Year 6 children and leavers in other year groups and we wish them all the very best of luck in their new schools.

Term 6 has started well at St. Aloysius’. Children have been keen to learn and over the past couple of weeks, teachers have been using age-appropriate assessments to identify strengths and next steps for pupils. These assessments will feed into your child’s end of year report.
