Homework

At St. Aloysius' Catholic Primary, we believe that homework is an important extension of classroom learning. We carefully select homework to reinforce what has been learned in class and to explore upcoming topics. Homework is also a great way for you, as parents, to engage with your child's education. We aim to create assignments that are enjoyable manageable whilst being educational. We ask parents to provide a quiet, supportive environment for their children to complete their homework. It is also helpful to regularly check in with your child on what they are learning and to encourage them to discuss their learning with you as this can really help reinforce the material covered in school. If you ever have any questions about the homework set or if you need additional advice on how to assist your child, please do not hesitate to contact the class teacher.
