Dear Parents/Carers,
It was wonderful to see so many parents at last night’s meeting, (Wednesday January 21st), where we were able to share the journey we have been on since our Ofsted inspection in October. The meeting also provided a very useful opportunity to listen to the views of parents and we have been able to take away some helpful feedback. Please come to our Parent’s AGM on Wednesday 18th March at 7.30pm to listen to our responses.
Ofsted carried out their first monitoring visit last week. Follow this link for a letter from Ofsted detailing their findings – Ofsted monitoring letter January 2015 . (This will be published on the Ofsted website). Overall their report is very positive and reflects the hard work that has been undertaken since the inspection in October. It is clear that more needs to be done but that we are definitely on the right track! I would like to thank the Staff, Governors and Pupils who have responded with such determination to address the issues urgently. Furthermore, I would like to point out that valuable support from the Local Authority will continue, helping us to get back to an Ofsted ‘Good’ within the next 18 months.
