Dear Parents/Carers,
Ofsted Report October 2014
The Ofsted report for St Aloysius Catholic Primary School has been published. You can read it on Ofsted’s website by following this link – St Aloysius Ofsted details.
You can also access the report via the School Information page
Overall, the judgement is that the school ‘Requires Improvement’. Areas identified as good were; the safety & care of pupils, the curriculum, the early years and the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of the children.
The school will be working with the Local Authority to address areas for improvement identified in the report. We will receive regular monitoring visits from HMI and will keep you updated about our progress in meeting these targets.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank parents who registered their opinions on the work of the school through ‘Parent View’.
Yours sincerely,
Tom Walker, Headteacher and
Eddie Murphy, Chair of Governors
