The last St Aloysius’ news from 2013…

Dear Parents/Carers,

It’s been a great final week with some marvellous end of year productions which really gave the children a chance to shine.

The pantomime trip was also a great success – this year Mrs. Kempton was dragged up on stage and gave a cameo performance as King John.  Since returning to school the phone has been glowing hot as offers have flooded in from Hollywood (Ash Class will be relieved to hear that she has turned down all offers and will be back in January).

Another high point of the last couple of weeks was the Christmas Fair. A huge thank you to the PTA Committee and all parents who ran stalls or turned up to spend their hard earned cash. The pupils who ran stalls also deserve a mention. Clearly we have some budding entrepreneurs in our midst. The event raised a staggering  £2,200.00 of which £1,000.00 was through sponsorship and sales of the School Calendar (copies of which are still available from the school office at £5.00 each). Thank you to all those involved in the production and selling of the advertising space.

Finally, on behalf of all the Staff and Governors, I’d like to wish you a very Happy, Peaceful and Joyful Christmas season.

See you on Tuesday 7thJanuary.
